What do you enjoy in regards to 'finer things'?

For me it is being able to afford to visit 'Emma's Coffee Lounge'  in Scarborough. The décor is rather grand, the meals light but satisfying, and the staff you can tell are from grand backgrounds. You certainly don't get any riff-raff in there. You get a small amaretti biscuit with your tea, which is served in tea cups, with delightful floral patterns on.

A glass (or two) of wine after a hard week of work, with Scottish smoked salmon with cream cheese on oatcakes. Yum.

Being able to enjoy such exquisite chocolates as 'Ferrero Rocher' and 'Guylian Belgian Chocolates' at Christmas time.

Between me and my partner, we received 6 boxes of Lindt Lindor chocolates. Once someone knows what your favourites are, it's all you ever get!

I went to Athens for the holidays and had some Moschofilero wine. It was so strange and beautiful. As the page says, it really does smell like roses, which is terribly unusual, and then the taste is so fresh and juicy. Anyway, if you ever come across it, give it a go Smile.
Also, I tried the ravani cake. It's a moist bit of loveliness with coconut and orange, it's just heaven. In other words, do visit Greece if you haven't yet Smile.

A good cut of steak, like filet mignon or chateau briand. I don't eat anything other type of steak.
